Mirriwinni State School offers classroom music programs and instrumental music.
In classroom music, each class prepares performance items as well as continue to consolidate their understanding of musical elements appropriate to their year level.
Instrumental music
'Learning to play a musical instrument can be both interesting and frustrating at times. Don't feel bad, you are not alone. Even the greatest musicians have their down days, but in the end making music is one of the most beautiful experiences you'll ever have.'
As the music teacher this is my expectation that students and parents should have when they choose to join a school instrumental music program.
