Mirriwinni Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) is a small and enthusiastic bunch who meet with the staff once a month to find out what is happening at school, chat to the principal and each other, provide feedback, plan activities, raise concerns, and make informed decisions about the operation of the school.

P&C meetings are a great source of information about your school, how it is travelling, what impact current events and policies have on its operation, and for finding out about current and upcoming issues first-hand.

Joining the P&C is one of the best ways to show your children how much you value their education and how interested you are in what they do. Participating in P&C activities can also help you to form friendships with other parents/carers and feel a part of your school community. As a recent new parent myself I found this experience rewarding and a great way to meet other members of our school community.

Each year we elect an executive who’s job it is to formally run the meetings and carry out any responsibilities we have as an incorporated association and member of the state body, the Queensland Council of Parents and Citizens Association (QCPCA)

Our executive for 2018 is:

  • President: Nathan Panebianco
  • Vice president: Jo Poppi
  •  Secretary:  Stacey Devaney
  • Treasurer:  Mandy Balbi

Our parents and citizens meet once a month on a Tuesday @ 7.00pm. We welcome any members of the community to attend.
